40th Anniversary Alumni Spotlight: Kathleen R. Pugh ’91; Long Island Center Graduate is Trial Court Administrator
Kathleen R. Pugh ’91 graduated from the Long Island Center at Old Westbury with a B.S. in business, management and economics. Today, she is the trial court administrator for the17th Judicial Circuit that serves Broward County, Fla. -- the second largest circuit court in the state.
After graduating from SUNY Empire State College, Pugh earned a J.D. from Touro College Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law School, and a master’s in ocean and coastal law from the University of Miami. She was a senior court clerk and court attorney for Nassau County on Long Island before joining the 17th Judicial Circuit in 1999 as a staff attorney and supervisor of 16 other staff attorneys. She belongs to the New York and Florida bars.
